Hyatt Regency Cabarete Cabarete, Dominican Republic

Cabarete, located on the Atlantic Coast of the Dominican Republic, has been known for years as one of the top 3 windsurfing spots in the world. An international development team has purchased a mile of pristine beach called The Miracle Mile for construction of 400 condominiums, a shopping village, and a 300 key full service Hyatt Regency Resort. The resort will feature 260 rooms and suites and 40 timeshare condominiums as well as a 15,000sf banquet/conference center with full corporate services, a Hyatt Signature Spa, Camp Hyatt, and a full complement of sports facilities and restaurant venues. As the only full service facility in Cabarete, the Hyatt is expected to be the home of major sporting events, corporate meetings, weddings and family vacations for years to come.

Manhattan Hotel and Condominium Prishtina, Kosova

This new hotel and condominium in Prishtina, Kosovo, scheduled to begin construction in 2008, will be one of the first towers to grace the skyline of this newly independent country. The building will feature 85 condominium units (1,2,3 bedrooms, and penthouses), 72 hotel rooms, and amenities including a lobby bar, sports bar, retail, spa, fitness center, indoor/outdoor pool, daycare facility, conference centers, banquet room, and a rooftop bar and restaurant. Mr. Brothers will be working with the developer, a Kosovar businessman with years of experience in New York City, to help set the standard for building luxury hotels and residences throughout the country.

The New York Dioceses of The Church of the Nazarene Kansas City, Missouri

The church of the Nazarene owns 152 properties in the Tri State Region of New York. Since 1999, IDA/MBREhasassistedthemwithevaluationandredevelopmentplans for their portfolio including converting their Times Square property, The Lambs Club, into a luxury hotel which has a ground lease paying $1 million / year for 100 years. The 3 churches shown above have all agreed to be redeveloped as new churches with 50‐100,000 sf of housing and retail space. IDA will be working with Kingdom Development to restructure these facilities into both market and affordable housing.

Wychoff Heights Hospital Brooklyn, New York

WQB Architecture worked at Wychoff Heights Hospital for over 14 years. During this time, the hospital was composed of over 12 buildings which dated back from 1898 to 1965 and covered several city blocks. WQB prepared a Master Plan for redevelopment of the facilities and how they could be reorganized into a new conjunctive facility. Over the years WQB implemented the Master Plan though a series of renovations which included new operating theatres, intensive care suites, dental surgery and clinic, ambulatory care facility, laboratories, outpatient clinics, endoscopy suites, pediatric care, nurses housing and a variety of other facilities. The work was culminated by a $250m new addition which was designed and built in coordination with Perkins & Will Architects.

New Bond Street Tianjin, China

As part of their redevelopment of “New English Town” a historic district of Tianjin. Citiarc and OPC were commissioned to develop a luxury branded community and market various retail and hospitality opportunities internationally. CITIARC/WQB was also retained to provide retail design criteria, signage, streetscape, and developmental guidelines for the cellar, street floors, and second floor retail spaces throughout the project.

The Church of the Nazarene Taconic Retreat & Conference Center Milan, NY

Camp Taconic is a 220 acre property in Milan, New York owned by The Church of the Nazarene and used by their constituent churches for religious retreats and summer camps. WQB is currently assisting them with preparation of a Master Plan and the design of new “Lodge” in order to upgrade the quality of their overnight accommodations. The lodge will feature 32 guestrooms and suites with living room type conference areas, huddle space and a fitness center.

The Fishkill Church of the Nazarene and Interactive Development Associates are developing an active living community on 8 acres of land owned by the Church. The proposed senior community creates 110 apartment units and includes the following:

Independent Living for well seniors who choose to enjoy the wellness programs as available.

Licensed Childcare in the form of an expanded daycare/preschool program which relates to the Independent Living in the form of intergenerational programming and shared recreation space.

A centrally located —acre park/recreational space for use by the Town as a whole and A foot long landscaped Par Course available to the neighborhood and the surrounding community.

Legation Quarter Beijing, PRC

The Legation Quarter is one of the most famous historic enclaves in Beijing, site of the former Qing‐dynasty era American Consulate, and site of numerous international and diplomatic negotiations as China reconnected with the rest of the world. In 2005, the site was purchased by an investment group for conversion to a major luxury dining, shopping and entertainment destination. Interactive Development Associates, on behalf of Mandarin Ventures, funded the first one million dollars of outside capital required for restoration and adaptable reuse of the existing quadrangle as a destination entertainment complex.

Spring Valley Church of the Nazarene Kingdom Partners Group Spring Valley, NY

Spring Valley, NY has become one of the 5 largest Haitian communities in the United States with over 20,000 population. Most of the local people are members of the local Church of the Nazarene or the adjacent Baptist Church. Currently, KPG is assisting the Church of the Nazarene with planning and redevelopment of their property to accommodate 60‐80 apartments with parking, an ambulatory medical space, and a new church with about 15,000 sf of community facility space.

Nanshan Mountain Cultural Tourism Zone Hainan Province, PRC

This 2,000 acre resort development is located on Hainan Island, a relatively untouched province of China with an environment and ecology similar to Hawaii. The resort includes a Cultural and Religious zone centered around a new Buddhist Temple, Passive Scenery Zones weaving into hillsides, and more developed entertainment and resort areas at the waterfront and at the mountain tops. The project includes three hotel zones, with a total of 12,000 rooms available, six restaurants and shopping zones, a golf course and a marina. IDA arranged the equity required for the project to receive “preferred” status as an international joint venture project.
