Her specialty has an international focus for family investments; She has an MBA, and 20 years experience in the residential real estate business. She founded MBRE as a boutique firm; “We keep our roster small so we can give our clients the attention they deserve.” In 2013, Joan Brothers, President, chose to rebrand herself as a new company, MBRE, to highlight the boutique (meaning personalized service) approach. The company successfully became a certified Women-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE) in 2014 in New York City. Under MBRE, Joan Brothers and William Brothers, both principals, will be involved and have the ability to advise and help shape what NYC real estate can be.
